Hi all can anyone help please, applied for ILR in august, got confirmation letter that my application has been received on the 3rd of September.
Problem is my wife who is my sponsor has decided to go on benefit (housing benefit and job seeker).
Though, I have told her that it might affect my application, she said it wont as, she has never claimed benefit before.
Please will her action affect my application as i am yet to receive a letter asking me to go and do my biometrics.

She can claim job seeker allowance in her name but for housing benefit she can only be considered as a single person and should declare you are under immigration control. Do you have children in the household?

But can she claim it under the immigration rule?
