The service standards
We will:
decide 95% of postal applications within six months; and
decide 90% of applications made in person at a public enquiry office within 24 hours.
can any one tell me that what they do with remaining 5 % applications ???
if they are not deciding in 6months then your application is within those 5 %

UKBA is under no legal obligation to adhere to "service standards". If tomorrow, UKBA changes the service standard to "50% of applications in 12 months", you'll have to accept it ... no matter who frustrated you may feel.
Service standards, in absence of legal contract, are usually based on the human resource capacity (stable) and average workload (dynamic) of the organisation. _________________ Life isn't fair, but you can be! |

thanks sushdmetha ... but there is no indication what they will do with remaining 5 % of applications. |
