unusual question

Post by mayhsmp » Mon May 28, 2007 12:17 pm

Friends,
I have an unusual question regarding EC.
Is there any problem in getting EC if one is pregnant??? I mean any constraint on the timelines as to until which month you can travel and so on??
Please give me information on this.
Thanks,
Mayhsmp

Hi,
Think they will not consider pregnancy when giving EC.

Travel is permitted till and including the 7th month without a letter from your practitioner. After that you need a medical certifcate saying you are fit to travel. Also it depends on the airline by which you plan to travel. Ideally the second trimester is perfect for travel.

This is up to the airline concerned ..... and the policy varies from one airline to another. Accordingly check with the airline you intend to use.
