NARIC degree comparability

I have to admit I'm a bit lost here...

I've recently earned my PhD from a German university, and I'm wondering whether I really need to get NARIC approval for my degree certificate.

In case I need, what is the procedure. I checked NARIC's website and there seems to be several services. Should I go for NARIC letter of comparability? This costs 40GBP and takes up to 15 days, which seems a lot to me.

Another problem: I haven't got my certificate yet. What can I do?
