I am applying for ILR and I submitted my postal application on 27th February.
On 1st April, I got a letter from HO stating that to help them consider my case, I should send them all of my previous Work Permit documents.
I am issued 3 such Work Permit documents until now:
1st WP issued in 2003 from ABC Ltd.
2nd WP issued in 2004 from XYZ Ltd.
3rd WPX issued in 2008 from XYZ Ltd.
Now I am unable to obtain 1st and 2nd WP because the employers concerned have misplaced them. They retained the documents since they understood that the WP document is the property of the employer seeking to employ a foreign national under the WP scheme.
My employers applied for the WP and kept the document in file with them. I was only given the WP whilst applying for FLR (IED).
However the 3rd WPX issued recently in 2008 is obtainable.
What can I write to the caseworker to explain my situation. Kindly suggest.
