Section finance in set (m)form

Post by F chhiboo » Thu Feb 06, 2020 10:59 am

all,
I am confused with this new online application form (SET M). In the paper application, you can choose which category you will fall in order to meet the financial requirement but in the online it's not there anymore. Anyway, My wife is applying for ILR 5 year route. To meet the financial requirement of £18600, we are going to combine our salary based on Category A. My wife is permitted to work in the uk and both of us are with the same employer for more than 5 years. She earns £9 annually and I earn £10k annually. We will not meet the financial requirement if we don't combine our income.

My question is which of the following should I choose as it's really confusing:

What do they earn?
The same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount
The same amount continuously, below the financial requirement amount
Not the same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount
Not the same amount continuously, below the financial requirement amount

Is it right to choose - same amount continuously, below financial requirement amount? Because my wife and I, individually, earn less than £18,600 but would meet the threshold if combined.

Please help me out. Thank you so much

The form is designed to be generic and does not cover all options. Your visa application will be assessed based on immigration rules. Ignore the doc list and provide the evidence based on the rules
