ILR UK dependents

Post by Jamesuk12 » Mon Jul 08, 2019 9:06 pm

Hi everyone.

I did try finiding the answer to this before posting but i was overwhelmed. My wife will apply for ILR UK on the 5 year route in july 2020 and we are due to have our first baby in a few weeks time. Do we need to include the baby as 1 dependent child when applying and also meet the finacial requirement increase for the baby even though it will be registered as a British citizen?.

Many thanks
James

No. You simply need to state the child details where required but not include in financial calc.

Page 11 in the FLR m paper guidance notes. Also a well known fact as British citizens are not subject to immigration control and rules.

https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov ... -form-flrm

Also page 7 and 8 of Appendix 1.7.

ILR living with parents who are renting

Post by Jamesuk12 » Mon Jul 20, 2020 10:44 pm

Hi

My wife is applying for ILR and we have been living with my parents for over 5 years who have been renting the property for over 11 years. It states on the online application you need proof of ownership from the home owner, copy of ID from the home owner, signed letter from the home owner stating permission to live there and a letter from the person renting the property stating permission to live there. on previous FLR applications we always just used the letters and ID from my parents and never the home owner without any issues. Would this be a problem with the ILR application?.

Thanks
James

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

These are usually needed where if someone who is either a family member or friend providing you their accomodation. However, you will still need the permission from letting agent based on your circumstances.

Hi seagul

Thats great thanks very much for your help. I was just concerned because on the online ilr visa application you must select all boxes to proceed saying you will provide the evidence but in my supporting documents these will be missing. The only documents i can provide is permission from the letting agency a written letter from parents with all their ID documents. Would that be enough?

Thanks
James

Supply as much as you can, similar to previous FLR(M) application.
