Please can someone help with my query regarding ILR application date

My wife's current expiry date on her BRP card, expires on 10 may 2022. This visa was for her 2nd spuse visa extension.

she arrived feb 10 2017, her 5 years will be feb 10 2022.

the question i would like clarification is, can i apply for ILR 28 days before the 5 years which is around 1st feb 22, or can i also apply 28 days or withn the expire date on her BRP dated 10 may 22

Your window of application is between 28days of arriving into UK on spouse visa till the expiry or her current leave as contained on her BRP.
