Private life with two British citizen children

I have lived in the UK for over 26 years. I have two British children under 18, but my relationship with their mother is not good.

In my last application, I applied on the basis of private life and included details about my children. I was granted permission under private life.

My question is as follows:

I am applying again using the FLR(FP) form. In the section that asks if I have children, if I answer "yes," it requests that I provide their details and submit their documents.

Is it acceptable to answer "no" to the question about children since I am applying under private life?
