Skilled worker visa employer change - Pending COS

Hello, In skilled worker visa for 4+ year and due to redundancy, Curtailement letter received and ending 31 Mar 2026. Employer A's COS request is still in progress and still no luck getting priority COS for more than a week. Employer B interview in progress and if everything goes well, likely to a get COS 4/5th of Apr which is beyond current expiry. As 5 year ILR route is due in Dec 2026, what are the last options?

1) Chasing Employer A to get a cos and apply by 31st which is the safest option
2) If above doesn't work out, if Employer B interview process gets over by 31st but just pending for COS , Does leaving UK by 31st without over staying and coming back in 2 weeks of time with new sponsorship but read like ILR counter resets. Appreciate for some advice
