settlement visa while psw is under process

hi, i applied for psw alomost 6 months ago, got married here in january this year, husband is british,i need to register my marriage but i can not coz ho is holding my passport and dnt have remaining leave, until now i was waiting that once i get my psw i will apply for COA and register marriage here but its been more then 6 months and am waiting i was wondering if i withdraw my application and go back home and apply for settlement from there, would that give me any problem, or is there any other way i can let ho know abt my marriage.

Hi Saba,

I am not fully sure but people seem to have received COA while their application for other visas was pending / under process.

You must have received acknowledgment letter from HO when applied for PSU and there should be HO ref no.

I believe on the basis of that ref you can apply for COA and mention that your passport is with PSW department.

Someone would make comment on this but do check with solicitors or immigration advisor.

i was wondering the same is it possible to apply for certificate of approval while ho holding my passport

Ask immigration solicitor and see what he/she says and let us know as well here.
