Thanks VN. I am beyond angry at how we've been treated. We have a very straightforward case. 2 years HSMP + 3 years Tier 1. If we've been identified as Highly Skilled /Tier 1 i.e earning the high salary levels that translates to high percentage of tax for them (all that without recourse to benefits for 5 years), isn't the least that we can expect is that our visa processing doesn't take 6 months? And let's not forget the ILR processing fee. This forum is great and thank you to all the people who have contributed and are keeping up the list. Just wish I'd seen this at the time of application. We would have booked for same day service. I believe someone (in this forum?) was writing a formal complaint regarding the time taken for processing, without even the access to an online status tracking system for applicants (astounding coming from a technologically advanced country like UK). Does anyone have an update on that? Was it sent and did they receive a response? Is there some way we can inform the media? My British colleagues are shocked by my story. They can't believe how inefficient their border agency is.

SET 0
Long residency/ 10 years student
Applied on 25/2 2012
HO Receive app 28/2/2012
Acknowledgement letter receive3/3/2012, dated 29/2/2012
Payment was done by postal order
Waiting over 3 weeks

Thanks in advance
Hi Lovelyislovely
I can't add you to the list, as, if I'm not mistaken, this is the list of people applying for ILR but excl. 10/14 years. There is a different waiting list created for the ILR applications, long residency category. The reason might be that the waiting time differs from group to group and then the topic stops being useful as it doesn't give the accurate information. Sorry for that.

Me and Rithi applied same time as you and we got our passports this week; hopefully you would get it by tomorrow.

Best of luck

So it looks like the Nov 2011 applications for SET (O) are coming through now . Congrats to all those who have received their passports. Any more SET (O) JRs who applied in Oct 2011 successful yet? Specifically cagedhorse, moraa, onlyifiknew or saiprabu111??
