Invalid Application due to non payment of Application Fee

Post by hify_hify » Mon Feb 21, 2011 8:24 pm

Just wondering if anybody has had this issue before, any advice is welcome.

I submitted my application 2days before my leave expired and before I received my COS. I submitted my COS separately afterwards as advised by UKBA. I received my application back today saying that my application is invalid because I did not make any paymnet and have not completd the payment page of the application form. They asked me to return fully completed application form with appropriate fee if I still wish to make the application.

I know that my COS is still valid snce I did not send it with the application and the feedback is not refusall. My concern is the implication of submitting now that my leave has expired.

I intend to include a letter explaining that this is a reapplication but not sure the reason to give on why I did not submit the payment form, it was an oversight. I saw the completed form in my file at home - I paid through direct debit by entering the long number on the form but mistakenly did not submit it.

Please any advice will be appreciated.

be truthful

downside is you will not get the chance to appeal their decision so you must make sure its perfect this time around

cheers
