amnesty?

i was told by a friend that there is a talk of amnesty for asylum seekers,
even for a failed ones. is it a bs or someone heard somethin as well?

The unaccompanied minor who was taking the HO to court lost his case. I think there has been a lot of talk from failed asylum seekers who entered the country as an 'unaccompanied minor' who thought they may get the chance to apply for ILR under this family amnesty scheme. This will not now be the case, unless he appeals and wins at appeal, which may open the way for others to apply.
