Onewin, are you sure your account has enough money or that if you have over draft facillity, it is nt over limit? Contact your bank and tell them you have authorized Home Office to take this payment fromyour account. Sometimes banks hold unusually large payments for security reasons. You shoud also call Home Office to ask if there is a problem with your payment. _________________ Man desires and God desires. You'll only get what God desires. I am in regular contact with my bank but they haven't received any request for money from Home Office.
I am planing to give a call to home office to check my application status.
I am confuse about, if we both (me and my wife) submitted the application at same time then how her application fees get deducted and not main applicant.
Could you please advice me how to contact the home office in quick way. As I tried couple of time calling but spend 20 mins on hold only.
thanks. |

Onewin,
The number to call is the same that you have probably called several times: 08706067766. You just have to be patient with them and wait. Try calling early in the morning. _________________ Man desires and God desires. You'll only get what God desires. Put your desires in God's hands & you might get what you desire. Dear la,
You are obviously going to be investing this money in the business, you can't keep it in the bank for the whole 3 years. If you do business with it, you have to pay tax on any profits you make. If you believe your profit per year is going to be £200,000, then yes you have to pay tax on this profit.
Hope this helps. _________________ Man desires and God desires. You'll only get what God desires. Put your desires in God's hands & you might get what you desire. Fight God's desires & He will tire you in search of your desires. Even then in the end you'll only get what He desires. |

Dear la,
If you do not invest the money, you will not be fulfilling the requirements of the visa, and the consequence is that you will not get an extension.
As a Tier 1 Entrepreneur, you are not allowed to work for anyone else, but you CAN switch from any Tier 1 category to a Tier 2 category as per page 4 of the new policy guidance on Tier 2 visas effective from 14th June 2012.
Hope this helps. _________________ Man desires and God desires. You'll only get what God desires. Put your desires in God's hands & you might get what you desire. Fight God's desires & He will tire you in search of your desires. Even then in the end you'll only get what He desires. |

If I will not invest the money through out my three years time, can I work
for clients through my business for these three years before I move to tier 2.
if you see the below link they said,we must extend visa in tier 1 entrepreneur if I want to continue living here.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/working/tier1/entrepreneur/conditions/.
Could you please confirm that, still I am eligible to move to tier 2 from tier 1 entrepreneur |

Dear La,
You can run your business without investing the £200,000 capital, but unless you show Home Office that you made the investment, you can't extend your Tier 1 visa if this is what you plan to do, but you can switch to Tier 2. Please read the policy guidance on Tier 2 visas. However, I'm not sure if Home Office will make any checks on your previous visa activities. I think not, but I'm not sure. I think you may have just found a loop hole in the system, but at your own risk of course. Maybe someone else will confirm....? _________________ Man desires and God desires. But i have also heard that if the application is invalid/returned/rejected then we have some grace period in which we can correct the mistake as per the letter which we have received from the home office.
Can anybody suggest.
Thanx |

As long as your date on the application is 23rd July, its fine. You can post on the last day, but I don't know about grace periods. Why don;t you call Home Office to confirm? _________________ Man desires and God desires. You'll only get what God desires. Put your desires in God's hands & you might get what you desire. | I am planning to apply for tier 1 entrepreneur visa by maintaining 200k funds for 10 days in India to move from tier 4 to tier 1 entrepreneur. Do I need to maintain full 200k funds till I get Visa. Why I am asking this question because, If I withdraw total money from account after I get a letter from bank and apply for visa, during the visa process, if UK BA asks again for up to date letter from Bank then I may not able to submit it with in 7 working days. Could you please help me in this scenario what to do. |

Hi
Can please some body clear me few things.
1. ''The report must show your name, as named in your application form, as the Director of a business that is actively trading and not struck-off, or dissolved or in liquidation on the date that the printout was produced''.
I register the company and got only two documents from Companies House which are certificate of incorporation and memorandum of association'' .
I can not see my name as a director is mentioned on both the documents only my name is mentioned on memorandum of association as under Name of each subscriber.is this what shows me as a director?
My 2nd question is
The date of this document should be within the three months immediately before the date of this application.
Means i need to submit my application within 90 days of incorporation not after 90 days of incorporation ?
Kindly any help will b much appreciated .
Regards |
