1st HSMP refused - Need opinion on 2nd attempt

I submitted my HSMP application last month and they returned my application within 10 days refusing it. Below are the details:

I have been allocated maximum points available in HSMP. According to them, my application was refused due to insufficient evidence indicating English language proficiency.

I sent my HSMP application along with my original degree, transcript and graduation letter and many other documents with respect to income etc. Since I graduated from an American school, the graduation letter only indicated my graduation details except that the degree was taught in English. Its understood that all US degree are taught in English!!!

What should i do? Get another graduation letter from my university ? with a line added stating that my degree was taught in English? Is that enough?

When re-applying for HSMP, is there something I should watch out for? besides the fact that I need to add more evidence regarding English?

i was also from american university. but still i got a letter from CIS[center for international studies] saying my degree name date and also saying all classes were in english. the HO guys are like robots they dont use their brain they just do what is written in guideline. so what i can tell you is go for riview and tell that your degree was from u.s.a and its ovious that usa degree was in english. you can also mention the university phone number email fax and so on if they want to check. and if unfortunately review doesnt work then just reapply wkith another letter from CIS. usually cis people are good and write any letters for students as long as its true.

Get a letter from your university stating the degree was taught in English. Everyone has to do this, even if it is "common knowledge" that degrees in that country are in English. (I had to get a letter even though my degree was in Australia.)

Sometimes they provide new reasons for rejection when the look at your application for the second time (different case worker can have a different opinion). So do another check on your documents and make sure everything is correct. Also make sure you adjust your earnings period dates, if you need to, considering that some time will have passed since your previous application.

My advice: IELTS.
