DS-2001 Receipt at London Embassy - any way to check

Hi,

Just a quick question:

I'm applying for a green card on a spousal basis (my missus is an american citizen, resident in the UK for some years).

I returned the DS-2001 form (readiness for interview) to the Embassy a week or two ago. I haven't heard anything back, but expect that to be fairly routine.

I want to know if there's any way of checking that they've received the form. I stupidly didn't sent it recorded delivery.

Also if anyone knows what the current turnaround time is like at London for return of DS-2001 to interview.
