4th year engineering student without BA certificate

Post by june7711 » Sun Feb 27, 2011 8:52 pm

I'm a 4th year engineering student. I have completed all the courses required for my BA degree in June 2010, and currently studying towards a M.Eng degree. Unfortunately I won’t be awarded the BA degree certificate until June 2011. Is it still possible for me to apply for Tier 1 Post Study Work visa now using a letter from the university confirming that I would be awarded the qualification in June?

Is it that you have not been awarded your degree yet or that you haven't been given your certificate? The two events are not the same...

MEng is an integrated degree course.(Bachelors(3 yrs) + Masters(1 year) = 1 degree certificate)

even if you have completed Bachelor's equivalent of the course already, the uni will ONLY provide you a degree/certificate once you finish MEng course.

... to the best of my knowlege

cheers
