About age under 28... Need your help....

Post by chamzu » Fri Apr 21, 2006 12:12 pm

Dear all,

I just recieved my refusal a moment ago. I can not believe that they put me in over 28 criterion. They recieved my application on 30th of March,2006, and my birthday is 5th of October, 1978. Now, my age is 27 years and 5 months.

In HSMP instruction( under 28 ), they said, "It is important to be aware however that, to be eligible for consideration against the young person assessment, your application form must reach Work Permits (UK) before your 28 birthday", and "Any application received on or after your 28 birthday can no longer be considered under the young person category, As the office that receives the HSMP applications is only open Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 4.30 pm) you should ensure that the application is received on the last working day prior to your 28 birthday".

I don't know what is their criterion really. Any one can tell me what can I do next? Need I request a review? Thank you very much.

Best regards for all,

Cool

Definitely and immediately too!

... provided you included a notarised copy of your passport with your initial application.

Do you mean I should request a review immediately?

I mean you should request a review as soon as you can.

I hope you provided a notarised copy of your passport with your initial application because if you didn't, it would account for the decision to evaluate your application as over 28.

Also, hope you used the correct form.

If you answer yes to the two statements above, then send in your request for a review before the review period lapses.

Dear cool,

Unfortunitly, I provided a colorful copy of my passport without norarised. But I did provide a Birth Certificate, which is norarised by the Notary Public Office.

Also, If I request a review, should I provide all of original documents again with the request letter?

Thanks...

I'm not sure about the process for reviews. But I know your question on whether original documents should be sent again has been asked before on this forum.

Do a search for 'review' and read up the posts. You should get good guidance

All the best.
