Abroad project consultancy under Tier 2 General Visa

Hello,

I am currently working in a UK university as a researcher under Tier 2 General visa. In addition to my current job, I would like to do consulting to a research project abroad funded by that country's national research agency. Once the project becomes active, I would be paid on hourly basis to an abroad account.

I was wondering if I am eligible to commit to and work for such a project under the guideline of Tier 2 General visa.
If it is possible, can you please let me know of the procedure to be followed?

as long as you are paid outside uk, and u continue to work for current sponsor, i dont think there is anything that u need to do about it.
