Absences during 5 year stay

Post by natalisain » Tue Feb 11, 2014 8:38 pm

Hi

When applying for ILR, do we have to provide proofs for all the absences from the UK.? Even a short absence of 2 or 3 weeks as a part of annual leave?

If there is an absence of 140 days due to working overseas, will UKBA ask for a reason? Or the reason is only asked if the absence is for 180 days or more in a consecutive year?

Thanks

a letter from the employer has to confirm all absences in connection with the employment, including annual leave.

In your application you will also have to give details of all absences, incl. the reason
