Accidentally submitted documents on TLS portal without adding second referee declaration form

Post by Hamza127 » Tue Nov 12, 2024 1:07 am

Hi everyone hope your well,

I have applied for naturalisation and as the title suggests I accidentally submitted all my documents on the TLS portal without adding the second referee declaration form.

My biometric appointment is on Wednesday (13th Nov). I have both physical and digital scans of the 2nd Referee Declaration form.

Any advice on the best course of action moving forward ? One thing I was sort of worried about is that the TLS Fee for the documents scanning service is 175 GBP + VAT. Will I be charged this ? Or will I be able to politely request that they add my document to the other submitted documents on the day of the biometric appointment. Thanks in advance !!

Hi, don’t mean to be pushy or annoying but my biometric appointment is tomorrow and just really stressed due to the situation.

Anyone have any thoughts on this ? Thank you

Take the form with you and ask if they can help you add it to your application. If they can't or won't, then you might have to wait till you're contacted by the HO.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

I thought you could upload documents all the way until you go for your bio appointment, can't you?

Good luck with your application.

Hi Waleed, if I’m not wrong I think this has changed with the new provider (TLS). Once you press on the submit button, you can’t add any further documents.

Did you manage to get them to add your form?

Update : They added the form at my appointment but I was charged 50 GBP for using the assisted service.

Hi,

I see you recently applied for Naturalisation and wish you the best, could you tell which original documents you took for the biometric appointment.

Regards

Only your current passport for ID purposes (you have loaded a scan already I assume).
No original documents are required. Also TLS doesn't review your documents.

Yes, I have uploaded everything; however, I have to request council to send the 5-year tax bill, or can i upload the passport stamps of last 5 years.

regards

You should scan the shoe of your passport, that is sufficient to prove residency. No bills required.

Passport stamps of five years are enough.
