Accommodation Proof related

Hi,
We are 4 guys planning a leisure trip to France and currently in UK with valid work permit. When we are applying for an appointment at French embassy, we need to show the accommodation proof. But when we make booking for a hotel, it will bear only the name of just one person who books it. How can we manage here?

I have personally encountered this problem before when travelling with a group of friends and the only around it is to find an online hotel booking service that lists ALL the travellers names on the booking.

Have a look around, there are a few who do. You could ring up some of the bigger travel websites like Expedia and Opodo and explicitly ask them to put everyone's name on the hotel booking. They will happily issue you with an official booking confirmation in everyone's name.
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.
