Accomodation Letter for EC - Requesting formats

Post by boyzzeal » Thu Aug 23, 2007 12:16 pm

Dear All,

I will soon be making my EC application and in this regard would request to suggest couple of formats for accommodation. My friend who is in UK and on a similar HSMP Visa will be providing me the accommodation and so in this context if anyone could provide me formats, it would be of great help.

Thank you.

Regards,
Deeps

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is to inform you that I would like to invite Mr. XXXX, a close friend of mine, who is applying for the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme. After he receives an approval from the Home Office and arrives in the UK, he will be staying with me, until he finds a suitable job and accommodation.

I own/rent a 2-bedroom house at the above address, which is currently occupied by my wife and myself. I have no problems in accommodating him in my house. I have attached my council tax bill and tenancy agreement as a proof of residence and a copy of my passport (you can include any other documents which shall be helpful). Please consider his case favourably.

I will be accommodating him until he gets a stable job. I would like to assure you that XXXX and myself would not claim any public funds in this regard.

If you need any further details with regard to accommodation, please do not hesitate to call me or email me at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yours Truly

Dear Ambitions_High,

Thx a ton for your help and this was the kind of format I was looking for.

However, I have a small query wrt first para. I'm applying for EC for UK Visa and have already received HSMP approval. Then does it stand correct that he is "......close friend of mine, applying for HSMP" and also "...approval from Home Office and staying in UK.." is right. I understand it is the UK Embassy in consideration as the work with Home Office is already done.

Kindly clarify and thx again for your help.

Regards,
Deeps
