Accountant as Referee for MN1

Hi Guys.

Can someone please tell me if an Accountant who is on Tier2 Visa can become a referee for MN1 application.

I want to apply MN1 under 1(3) for my two children who were born in UK.

A friend of mine is ACCA qualified and on Tier 2 visa. He has just started his Accountancy services. Can he become professional referee for my both children.. ?

Accountant can be your referee.

Thank for replying.. but I am not applying for myself. I am applying for my children and the only professional referee is can manage is that accountant.

One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child* in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.

This has been covered quite a few times on this forum and it seems that HO is not very strict on this issue when it comes to young children applying.
