acknowledgment letter

need ur advice guys... here is the situtaion,
i applied on 1st sep for psw, which was received by H.O next day, fee was deducted on 8th sep,till today i did not receive acknowledgement letter from ukba , my friends who applied same day as mine and some of them applied on 2nd sep they have got the acknw. and even letter for biometric.
can any one please suggest that what should i do , should i call them or just waitttttttttttttt

the only thing tht worries me was... what if later on they says that we have sent u letter and it should have delivered...and i can not prove that it was not delivered as they not usually sent these letter through recorded delivery.
i was thinking if i could get an e-mail address or postal address so that i can notify them tht still i havnt recived acknwl and biometric letter yet, to cover my side.is there a time frame for these?
i also wanted to ask that i have recived my original certificate few days back should i post it to H.O ?

1)ali, while i was applying for PSW i didnt get Ack letter, until today, but hold PSW for past 6 months.
2)For bio-metric letter u can wait or else better call them up HO number is on the application form or you will find on the net and query about that.
3)more easier for you to query if you would have got the ack.letter as the case number will be on that, which is useful while in contact with them on phone querying about your Biometric letter

4)Iam not really sure about certificate, but how can u apply for PSW without certificate ?

thanks so much for ur reply, i have recieved my ackwnl. letter and bio-metric letter same day.
about the original certificate...i have submit a letter from my university clearly saying awarding date, course name, lenth etc.....
thanks again for ur time..and good luck with ur application,
also ukba written in the letter that please do not send any additional supporting documnets unless requested. so my last query was sorted ....
