Address /previous adddress problems

Hey guys,

My Wife is applying for UK citizenship but she is not on the electoral roll ( I thought only UK citizens could vote so did not bother) and I just left My name on the Council tax bill .

Is this going to be a problem?

BTW She has bank accounts and bills etc at Our address

Should not be a problem. There is no requirement to provide any proof of address. Just list the addresses she lived in for the past 5 years.

Not a problem at all, I was asked @ the interview why I was not on the electrol register and I told the lady that I thought it was only for British Citizens and I got my passport 2days later,

We had a form from Council few months back for people in the house to sign for voting and after carefully reading all of it, I didn't see any provision for me, non-UK, non-EEA, non-Commonwealth citizen...

To vote in an election or referendum, you must be registered on the electoral roll.
Who can register to vote?

Anyone aged 16 or over (but you cannot vote until you are 18 ).
British or qualifying Commonwealth citizens. This means Commonwealth citizens who have leave to remain in the UK or do not require such leave.
Citizens of the Republic of Ireland or other European Union (EU) member states.

So, I don't see why would anyone ask me to be on it?
