address in the uk

Hello
i intend to apply for the uk residence permit through setting up a business in the uk.
should i bother about renting an apartment in london to show the evidence of having a place to stay in the uk before the process of applying. Or my plans for accomodation do not affect the decision about the visa (if all the rest goes fine)
