admission fees for overseas students

Post by rogerroger » Mon Jun 20, 2005 11:07 pm

Hello

my wife was granted ILR last year, this October she would have been in the UK 2 years. Does she qualify for home student status or she would have had to reside here for 3 years (next year with 2 years ILR).

the MS courses here are 9000+ while for a home student it is 3000+ which is a huge difference

It depends on the University where you want to take admission. Generally most (if not all) universities require that the person have an ilr AND is resident in UK for the last three years. Best bet is to contact the University in question directly.

so the definition of "home student" is university dependent then?
