Re: Advice on british citizen application

Post by rose07 » Mon Jul 10, 2023 11:23 am

Hello,
Tfl has found my ILR, and they sent me by post last Friday (07/July/2023) after three months and five days.

Please advise what I need to do.

I am still awaiting my naturalization application outcome, which I applied 31 March 2023.

I did not apply for a replacement ILR card.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Many Thanks

I don't think there's anything you have to do now - you got your BRP card back which you lost after your biometrics appointment. All that's left to do is waiting for your approval. Your application is still within the 6 months processing window set by UKVI.

Thank your reply.
I have another question, please.

When my ILR was lost, I informed the home office and closed my online access to generate the share code.

I need your help generating a share code online because I need to supply a share code for my job.

Many Thanks

On your first post in this thread you said: "I am still awaiting my naturalization application outcome, which I applied 31 March 2023."
Here you say: "I have a family visa with a Pakistan passport."
Who is it you are asking for - and you didn't gave the reason.
Can you please clarify?

Hi, Thank you for the reply.

My husband got his passport in August 2023, but I have a Pakistani passport, and I got a family visa ATM, and I need 2nd extension at the end of next year.

Your advice I have taken was for my husband and myself.

My question is about universal credit, which I believe my husband can apply for because I don't currently work due to a health problem.

When my husband filled out the online UC form, he also entered his partner's details. I know that I am not entitled to any public funds.

My question is, can that affect my application in future?

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you problem.

If you need more info, please let me know.

I appreciate your advice!

Many Thanks

OK, understand now.

Can't really comment on Universal Credit, but I believe your husband as British citizen can apply for UC, but probably you as his spouse will be taken into account. Not sure whether this means you are a joint applicant/claimant. This is all I can say - others need to clarify in more detail.

If the no recourse to public funds is on the current visa then you can't claim, presumably if you claim then that would go against you for ILR. Again further clarification needed.

Thank you for your kind reply.

It's not a joint account but a linked account in which they asked for partner details.

In the form UC online form, they asked who is the main carer to look after the baby (6 Weeks old baby). So my husband mentioned my wife looks after and they asked wife's bank account. So we have given these details.

But I am unsure if they transferred money into my bank account or if it came into their system where they misunderstood that I have taken public funds, to which I am not entitled. I will get into trouble when I apply for a family visa extension next year.

Please share your thoughts.

God Bless you!

Best Regards,
