advice for husbands visa

Post by lauraelabsy » Thu Dec 29, 2011 7:09 pm

I need some advice about how I can make papers for my husband to stay with me in the Uk and be able to work.

For the past 3 years I have been in Egypt where we were married. I have come back to the UK as I cant live in egypt anymore.
I want my husband to live with me in the UK and find work if he wants.

He currently has a 2 year family visit visa, as originally we were just visiting. But due to issues within Egypt, i no longer want to live there.

I dont want my husband to have to travel back to Egypt and apply for yet another visa, when he is already here in the UK with me!!

We are legally married, I have a flat in both our names and will be starting work next week.

Please can someone help! there must be a way around this :(

Sorry but what you are asking for is not possible with the visa he has got. He has to return to Egypt and apply for spouse visa like everybody else have to.

Applying from here will only result in refusal and that will have implications for him in the future.

Sorry :(
