I am a EU national.
I have continuously resided in the UK since August 2003 to present; and during that time I worked for nearly 3.5 years in total;
I have been issued with an Accession State Worker Registration Scheme Registration Certificate in October 2004;
I have been issued with a Residence Permit For A National of a Member State of the EEC in January 2006.
I worked 09/2004 - 10/2007. I was on a maternity leave 10/2007 - 10/2008 and in employment until 11/2009. However, my last income was received in 06/2008 (last payment of Maternity Allowance). Since 06/2008 I have been financially supported by my husband.
Will they ask for a comprehensive breakdown of private medical insurance, showing that I had medical insurance from June 2008 to present (despite the fact that I was on a maternity leave until 10/2008 and technically employed until 11/2009)?
Also, can I argue that since my arrival in the UK (in 2003) I have lived with a EU national husband who has been either employed or seft employed for all the period in question (2003 - present); i.e. contributing towards the NHS on his and my behalf. My husband was granted a Permanent Residency in September 2010.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
