To cut a long story short,i was ill advised on my settlement visa application and now find myself in a bind.Im a singapore citizen, married to a british citizen for 8 years. We have 2 sons aged 8 and 6.They hold british passports too.Anyway,i sent in my application on the 2/1/08 with all the items on the checklist.10 days later i was called up for an interview at british high com.The ECO informed me that she was unconvinced that we could support ourselves and said she would give me sometime to improve my financial situation. She also said that we didnt provide enough evidence to prove that the 1 room flat owned by my father in law now occupied solely by my husband even though a letter from my father in law stating he has given us permission to live there. My husband who only returned in march'07 started his current job in late september'07.He earns 340 pounds a week and has about 500 pounds in savings.I have about 2000 pounds in savings and rent from a property i own which amounts to about 450 pounds a month. What are the chances of getting my visa approved? The ECO has given me some time so what can i do to improve my chances?
