Hi all!
I have started my British citizenship application and it is going well, but I also have come across few dilemmas. If anybody can help me with them, I will be very much grateful:
1. My first name is PAWEŁ with a Polish letter Ł at the end, that not exist in English alphabet. Normally, I put my name as PAWEL, e.g. UK driving licence, however in this instance, should I use Polish spelling as it is in my Polish passport?
2. Do I have to send original documents, e.g. identification documents or can copies certified by a Council Checker be alright?
3. Current passport/travel document number section. Should I put the number of a document that I am sending, e.g. Polish Identity Card or British driving licence or my Polish passport number?
4. Knowledge of the language - can I use ESOL certificate from my university application (2010) even though it has expired? What else can I do if I receive my BSc degree in July 2014 and I want to apply for the citizenship in June 2014? A simple letter from the university is sufficient enough?
5. Country visited. Do I have to exactly state all the dates and countries I have visited, even it was mainly in EU and there is no stamp in my passport?
6.Section 3: Good Character Requirement. If I am a full-time student what should I tick and what business address should I give?
7. I have been in full time education (sandwich course with hospital placement) from 01.10.2010 until now (4 years) and beforehand worked for 3 years as a chemist, however I do not recall applying for WRS at all. Is that a problem at all if I have NIN from 2006, all payslips and P60s?
Thank you very much for help.
