Age proof!!!

Hi,
I have searched the forum to get an answer to this, before i bother everyone. But I dont seem to have an answer for it. I am applying in country, and am providing my FULL UK DRIVING licence as age proof. DO I send the photocard, or counterpart or both. I would have thought they want both, but If i need to show my Licence while my application is being processed, I'll be done for it!!! Any idea!!

Sorry of this has come up before, i and the search function on the boards just couldnt find it.

The guideline only mentions an "Original Full Driving Licence". Does not mention the counterfoil anywhere. Provisional licences are not accepted.

Failing to produce a licence on demand does not attract a penalty. Technically, you don't need to always have your licence physically on you when you drive in the UK.

If they are satisfied with the reasons why you can't produce you licence, you'll be given a time time limit (e.g., "a week", or a specific date) and a place / location where you go in person and display the licence.

Thanks for the reply, I have a full licence and not a provisional. But the amount of time an HSMP application takes is a complete unknown. Still dont know whether to send both or just one. Maybe I should call them up and ask.

Any one else have any opinion on this!!!
