When does she turn 19? What is she currently doing (e.g. university)?Angela_za wrote:My husband is a British citizen, I am South African as are my 3 children. The 2 eldest being from my first marriage. We applied in April for settlement visa's for myself and the children. I received mine as did the younger children. My 18 year old daughter who at the time had just finished school had her visa refused, on the grounds that she was 18 and still had family in South Africa. She was granted leave to appeal, which we did using an Immigration Consultant. We were notified on the 25th September by the consultant that the HO had withdrawn their refusal and would now issue the visa and a letter was sent to me along with a copy of the Tribunals Service notification of the decision. After numerous visits etc to the High Commission in Pretoria it was revealed that they had again changed their minds and withdrawn their withdrawal of the decision and now would not issue the visa but had forwarded everything on to the AIT in London for a hearing date and had requested that the appeal be reinstated.
She is now in South Africa with my financial support with my elderly parents. She has never lived outside the family home, or been able to support herself in anyway.
Any ideas on what I can do?
