do any kind of benefits affect extending my visa?

I am recently allowed to stay in the UK as a spouse for 2 and a half years(FLR(M) 5 years root). I want to study for free or with some benefit in order to find a job. If I register a job seeker allowance, I don't have to pay for the courses or can discount of the fee. I wonder whether any kind of benefits affect extending my visa next time.

Then you can't claim IB-JSA I'm afraid. You may still seek assistance at the JobCentre Plus though.
