For you to qualify for stamp 4 on the basis of your child, your child has to hold Irish citizenship. Has he got an Irish passport? You mentioned that you are on stamp 2 meaning on student visa, what is the status of your spouse?faraz2049 wrote:hi there just wanted to know(if some one has information about it)i am a stamp 2 currently,my baby born here in 2009,just having birth certificate no passport of any country yet.
can i apply for stamp 4 on behalf of my child?

a British citizen;[6]
a resident of the island of Ireland who is entitled to reside in either the Republic or in Northern Ireland without any time limit on that residence;
[7] or
