Which country did you apply from and which sort of visa are you applying for?

If skilled worker application to London, they say allow 12 weeks. Having said that, a recent burst of activity meant quite a few May/June applications received their AORs in five to seven weeks, immediately before that the waiting time was up to around 16 weeks.

Check with your bank that the draft has been cashed. If it has, no need to worry. AOR will turn up - or it won't. Some people have never received an AOR but still got 90-day letters at approprite time. If it hasn't been cashed I would assume something is wrong with your application.

Last resort contact CHC. The problem with CHC is if you keep contacting them with questions specific to your application, it slows down your application. It also takes ages to get a response.

A more general question via the email facility on the web site usually gets a response in a few hours or a couple of days, ie, "I sent my application on 2 June and have not yet received an AOR - is this unusual, should I worry?"
