Appeal case

Post by Halima » Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:12 pm

Hi,
I am new on this site. I always visit this site and see alot of people help and answer everyones questions.

I need some information as i have a court hearing on the 22 feb 2010. I have applied for my husbands visa and got rejected, i then appealed and at the same time submitted a new case which also got rejected.

I am self employed and own a take away. The ECO rejected the case because of 2 reasons.

1. They think i havent paid tax. They said that i have a copy of the cheque to show i have paid it but i didnt show i have paid it in my business bank account.

2. I don't have enough room in my house.

My solicitor has got all my case ready and the reasons for rejection are false.

I just wanted some help as to what types of questions am i most likely to be asked?

Sorry for such a long story, but i thought i let you know of the full story.

Hope to hear some replies and help soon

Thanks

What 'visa' is this for?

Dont have a direct answer to your case but have as much info about your taxes as possible and also about where you live.

Also you may stand a better chance if you post your question in the 'family members' sections

Hi,
The visa is for my husband's settlement visa.

Can you please tell me for an example what they will ask about my taxes.

Have you been in the same position?

Thanks alot for your info
