Appeal Process???Confused

Hello Guru's

I was on PSW before and my wife applied as my dependent but she got refused due to insufficient funds.I applied for an appeal on 29th oct 2009 and we were sent a "Notice of Pending Appeal" with the appeallant as my wife and respondent as ECO. Now i have got my tier 2 and my wife wants to apply as my dpendent within 3 months time.

Note:- It says on letter that date and venue of appeal will be infirmed after 29th April 2010

I would like to know what options do i have

1) Withdraw the appeal application and allow my wife to make a fresh application for her tier2 dependent visa

2) Allow the proceeding to go ahead, wait for the outcome and then ask my wife to apply for fresh application for tier2 if appeal is refused

3) If any appeal is outstanding will it affect my wife's new application,I am assuming she has to mention on her form a reference number for any pending appeal.
