Appeal on PSW Rejetion

Hi,

I have recieved an rejection of my application because of no points awarded on maintainence funds. The statement I had provided showing the minimum amount of funds was from 9 January onwards , whereas for the 3 months to be completed the statement should have been from 26th December 2008.

At the time of application the bank could not provide me with a statement before 9th of January and I had to submit my application before the deadline of 30th of April as I was appliying on the basis of my Post Graduate Diploma.

My question is that my application was rejected because I could not provide the statement for around 10 days to show the mainitainence funds. If I can get that statement showing that the funds were there in my account on 26th December and onwards can this decision be overturned.

Also should I myself make or is it best if I make the appeal via a solicitor and if someone can recommend a good lawyer.
