Appeal Success

Post by naija99 » Tue Mar 26, 2019 11:52 am

Hi guys
A friend had an appeal allowed decision on 30 Nov 2018 but is still waiting to hear anything further. It was for settlement applications for her two children in Ghana that was originally refused in 2017. Since receiving the determination from the tribunal she has not heard anything.

Is there an email address for her to contact?
Also will the children get ILE so they wont have to pay NHS surcharge will they?

Following a spurious refusal decision we had a Tribunal hearing in July 2018. The decision was overturned but we heard nothing more until December 2018 (other than several auto generated emails repeating the same information about IHS payment). In December a request was made to provide the passport for the visa. After 8 months since the appeal, no sign of said passport with visa. :x

Contact with our local MP (we think) prompted a terse email saying;

"With regards to the application for xxxxxxx it appears that there has been some confusion.
I would like to confirm we have received xxxxxxx passport.
We are currently working on the application. We cannot provide a time scale of when it will be completed.
As and when we have any updates we will be in contact".

Not sure who was "confused" and no idea what still needs to "worked on" but it seems there is a price to pay in retribution for daring to win an appeal! :evil:

Unbelievable! What a nightmare
The IAC customer service gave this email address to chase visas after appeals have been allowed
Not sure if you’ve tried this already
