Application Centre Confusion

Post by 7-Ball » Fri Nov 21, 2014 12:20 am

Hi, everybody. I'm extremely confused about what to take the the Application Centre appointment due to being told two different things on the website. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

When booking my application I was told this:

You must bring your APPOINTMENT BOOKING CONFIRMATION NOTICE and your PASSPORT with you. Your biometrics cannot be captured without these TWO documents. No other documents are required for your visit to the Application Support Center. Please Note that cell phones, cameras, or other recording devices are NOT PERMITTED to be taken into the Application Support Center. IMPORTANT ¹ All your supporting documents, including your application, travel document and your stamped biometric appointment confirmation form should be mailed to ONE of TWO visa issuing offices within TWO weeks of having your biometrics taken (for more information, go to: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/count ... a/applying). SETTLEMENT APPLICATIONS should be sent to: International Operations and Visas, 6 Millsands, Vulcan House, Sheffield, S3 8NH, United Kingdom. ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS should be sent to the visa issuing office shown below.

But then when I payed for my application it said this:

When attending your appointment you must take with you a print out of your appointment confirmation, a print out of your visa application (signed and dated), any supporting documents and the appropriate fee (unless already paid online).

This has left me EXTREMELY confused. Do I or do I not take with me my evidence to the appointment (I"m within the United States if that makes a difference.) Thank you for any help.

Why not just take everything, they can always select what they want, that shouldn't be a cause for for stress at all.
That means you'll be submitting your passport, signed online application form, appendix 2 form and your biometrics which will be done at the application center.
You'll then post ALL your supporting documents with a copy of signed online application form to the address you stated in UK.
Remember you must include appendix 2 form if you're not aware of this.
