Application for spouse and dependent

HI- my husband and I are applying for settlement for him and for his 3 yr old daughter who he has had sole resposability for over 2 years. I appreciate that we have to fill in two of the VAF4A forms but can we put all the suporting documents for both of them in the same dossier (separate section for her passport and birth certificate etc). So much of the paperwork, like budget, accomodation etc is applicable to both of them. Is it a good idea for me to write a supporting letter for the child too or just include her on the suporting letter for my husband. Thanks

Everything should be done as one on the same form. Documentary evidence should suffice for both

on the same form? I understood that we must make separate application for the child on separate VAF4 form. Now i am really confused!
