PR application 10 questions, Help please!

Post by starlin » Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:05 pm

Hi there,

The last time I posted was in 2013 when I applied for my resident card, here I am again for PR! Thank you all for your kindness and helped me back then. :D Now my resident card will be expired by 20/02/2019. :cry: I got 10 questions(sorry... :oops: it's a lot...and some of them seem small but I am so confused!), please read below and very appreciated if you can give me some advice!

I've filled the section 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18 and 19 on the PR application.

1. Page 8 Your title
I didn’t change my family name after marriage, and my bank card is still Miss. What should I tick? Mrs, Miss or Ms?

2. Page 12 Fingerprints in previous immigration applications
I have my fingerprints taken twice in my previous UK immigration applications, I cannot remember the dates and places. I cannot find any confirmation letters, should I just write down I don’t remember and tell the truth? I tried so hard to find some letters but no luck!

3. Page 28 Residence in the UK
I first enter the UK in September 2008, should I give the details from 2008 to the present or 2014 to the present from the previous visa date? Do I need to write down my husband's absences from the UK, too?

4. Page 29 EEA family permit number
Reference number, is this kind of number - UKF XXXXXXX? On the top right corner?

5. Page 47 Details of the relevant EEA national’s activity
My husband didn’t apply for PR, so he will need to fill this part for me.
He came about the same time as me in 2008 and in 2009 and 2013, a couple of months was unemployed. Left the job he didn’t like and looking for work like everyone does(He didn't claim any benefits). However, he works for the same company from 2013 to present, that's more than 5 years. Does he need to write from 2008 to present, and including unemployed times?

6. Page 51 Accession state workers
Since my husband arrived in 2008 and as Hungarian, he should have registered in Worker registration scheme (WRS-1 May 2004 to 30 April 2009 ), but he didn’t! He said nobody asked him for the paper, he knew he should, then the scheme ends in 2009, so he never applied. In this case, what should he write? the truth that he didn't apply and where he worked?

7. Page 59 When did you start living together?
We met in February 2009 and got together around September 2009, we lived together after in 2009 in a shared flat. It wasn’t straight forward, the relationship was on and off sometimes and there is no paper to prove we did live together until November 2012, we rented a flat then we got married later in 2013. Should I just write down November 2012?

8. Page 78 You should tell us about any family friends, or other connections with that country.
I write down Taiwan as my family ties, should I write down my husband’s country? Hungary, we go back every year. Does it count as my family ties except for my own country?

9. Page 79 Documents and evidence
How long of the period I should send the evidence? From 20/02/2014 since I got my visa? How long of the period for bank statements/payslip? And his payslip, all digital, can we just print it out? Do I need to send my payslip?

We will send 1. Photographs of me(2), a photograph of him(1). 2. My passport(EEA resident card sticker on it) and his passport or ID card. 3. Marriage certificate 4. All living together documents. 5. His/My bank statements, his payslips.

10. Cover letter and photos?
Do we need cover letter this time? I remembered we had a cover letter last time. If it does, what should we write? photos of living together if necessary?

So sorry to put all the questions in front of you, I am literally panicking, the time is coming and we haven't got all the application ready yet. 25 days left and I am planning to send it out a week before!

Thank you for reading it! And please reply to me, I am extremely in need of help.

Hi everyone,

I've sent out my application.

Thought to share what I put down and fingers crossed for me!

1. Page 8 Your title
Ms

2. Page 12 Fingerprints in previous immigration applications
I found two letters from previous applications, attached one biometric card and one is photocopy to support my previous status. For the dates and places, wrote the year and London, I do what I can!

3. Page 28 Residence in the UK
From the date, I arrived 2008-2019 to present including my husband - 2007-2019, although some early years he can't remember at all, write down around a week or so. Give every detail as possible.

4. Page 29 EEA family permit number
Exactly what on the top right corner.

5. Page 47 Details of the relevant EEA national’s activity
He only has a permanent job from 2010, there is one month, he was looking for work, then work for another company, so that's what he wrote. Ideally, he should have written from 2007 but he doesn't remember and lost the email he used to contact job agencies. Again, we do what we can.

6. Page 51 Accession state workers
Again, he doesn't remember from 2007-2010, and he didn't apply for WRS, no one asked him at that time.
We just answer honestly - didn't aware of the scheme and job details lost.

7. Page 59 When did you start living together?
Wrote down November 2012, that's our serious relationship started also we have evidence to support.

8. Page 78 You should tell us about any family friends, or other connections with that country.
There are conditions I read the second time and clearly states 1. The country you were born. 2. The country whose nationality you hold. 3. The country you have lived for more than 5 years.
So in this case, Taiwan is only my family ties.

9. Page 79 Documents and evidence
I have 11 of them!
1. Signed EEA (PR) application form attached Passport photos (2 from me, 1 from my husband);
2. Proof of payment of a £65 fee;
3. Valid Passport (The current valid passport and the previous passport with family permit sticker on), EEA member: My husband’s Valid National Identity Card;
4. Utility bills from 2012-2019 – as proof of UK residency since the end of my Qualifying period (February 2014 - February 2019);
5. Tenancy agreement from 2012-2019 – as proof of UK residency since the end of my Qualifying period (February 2014 - February 2019);
6. Marriage certificate and a Superintendent Registrar – as proof of our relationship;
7. Previous visa letters from 2010, 2012 to support Biometric information for non-EEA nationals: form EEA(PR), attached a Biometric residence permit card dated xx-xx-2012 to xx-xx-2014;
8. My original and digital copy of P60s, Payslips – as proof of continuous employment;
9. My husband as an EEA national qualified person, support document for me, original and digital copy of P60s, Payslips – as proof of continuous employment and proof of UK residency during my Qualifying Period (February 2014 - February 2019);
10. My bank statements from 2014-2019;
11. My husband as an EEA national qualified person, support document for me, bank statements from 2014-2019;

10. Cover letter and photos?
We have a cover letter signed both names, thanks for the forum, I am able to find other people's cover letter, it's very long, will put in next post. No photos, I can see no one is doing so, although my friend said she had sent photos too. As I checked guideline, it's Category D (no value) Please do not send these.

Hi,

I want to share my experience that annoying me, I hope you can avoid the situation as I have. :oops: I spent my half day annual leave finding post office LTD, it turns out it has to be Crown post offices.

So I went to 6 post offices near my office, all post office LTD as it stated on the letter they have to be, but the staff told me, I should have gone to Crown post offices. Also, there are a lot of post offices are listed online but currently closed, I even went to some wrong address.

The best way is to check on www.postoffice.co.uk and make sure it says Key Available Services > Identity & Licences > Home Office Biometric Enrolment. Maybe it's just not my day! :? I only checked if they are post office LTD online but not even gone to the main site, just googled them, a very wrong idea.

Old Street (Took my Biometric Enrolment here finally!)
205 Old Street, London, Greater London
EC1V 9QN

High Holborn (I found the wrong address on Google Map... so I gave up finding this one, but this one should be ok.)
181 High Holborn, London, Greater London
WC1V 7RL

Good luck everyone and wish me luck too! :)

I got it!!!!! was pretty worried from the day I sent it out.

Non-EEA Spouse PR Postal Application 2019

Application sent (online/postal): Postal/ sent on 18/2
Application received: 19/02
Payment is taken: Poster order
Confirmation email: 26/2
Biometric letter received: 28/2
Biometric details submitted: 1/3
COA with work permitted received: 11/3
Documents received:12/4(Dated 11/4)
DX Redelivery letter received: 23/4(Dated 17/4)
PR cards received: 26/4

67 days! 8)

The next one is either apply for the EU Settlement Scheme or citizenship.

Apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (settled and pre-settled status)
https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-ci ... -to-remain

What you must do
To continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021 you must either:

1. apply to the EU Settlement Scheme - you will not have to prove you have 5 years’ continuous residence
2. apply for citizenship before 30 June 2021 (or 31 December 2020 if the UK leaves the EU without a deal)

I might go straight to apply citizenship if the time is right for me.

There are two dates on my PR card, 11/04/2019 until 11/04/2029, but on my confirmation letter, the date is deemed for citizenship is 7/10/2019.

So that means either 7/10/2019 or 11/04/2020 :?: :?: :?:
