Application Refund

Post by carlsoe5 » Wed Jun 25, 2014 4:01 am

After submitting my online application for my Tier 4 Student visa my University informed me that they had amended my course fees associated with my CAS. This means that the monetary amounts that I supplied in my application are wrong and I believe I need to cancel and resubmit my visa application. I did attend my biometrics appointment but have not submitted any of my forms to the visa office. Will I be able to get a refund for my visa application?

I am not sure you need to withdraw your application

What do you mean when you say that they have changed the fees? Do you still have sufficient funds in your account ?

I was awarded a scholarship that reduced my course fees. I do still have sufficient funds in my account but now the course fee amount on my CAS is different from what I entered on my application. Will this be ok?
Thanks for your help.

Yes you don't need to withdraw the application as they will look at the information on the cas online. For the avoidance of doubt you could provide a brief letter explaining the situation accompanying your docs.
