application refusal

Hi all
I got a letter today from immigration office that minister refused to proceed my eu treaty rights application due to my wife who doesn't work anymore and is not exercising EU treaty right ( who is eu citizen).
I have also received an application form of Zambrano to be filled in.
Please give me an advise what to do in this situation.
There's only one way remaining to send them Zambrano application form, but I am wondering if I send them this application form,would my case be transfered from EU1 to Zambrano? or just take a solicitor?
Can they deport me from Ireland even If I have 4 EU children,one of them is irish?
Please help what to do

Dear @zaza...whats ur visa status? How long U both are together the time u applied to citizenship?Coz the reason U mantioned from the department on the base they refuse ur apllication ..doesnt Make Any sense...as U r saying U have childrens one of them is irish National...U should apply through irish assosiation...n i dont think so they can deport U at all..If they didnt give U the citizenship ..But U should have the 10 year residencey....just wrote ur full details ..than will Make more easy to explain it to U ...

Appeal the refusal.
Your wife can exercise treaty rights as self sufficient as well.
Dont go for Zambrano yet.

Simply fill ur zambrano application and send them , u will get zambrano visa behalf of irish citizen child , they only give zambrano visa for three year behalf of irish citizen child , dont worry u will get it ,

Ok. First of all i am not applying for citizenship,I am applying for zambrano status.we used to live in other country but we are back 8 months already.my temporary gnib card expires in june.my wife has no job and that's why i got a refusal

As far as i know i have to bring my irish child to immigrafion office with relavent documents,am i correct?
One more thing,we were not in ireland couple of years,would it be problem for me fo get zambrano?

Firstly, it depends on how long remain on your current GNIB Residence card but nevertheless i will strongly advice you to send in an application for review of the refusal decision and i am very sure within 2-3weeks you will get an extention of between 6 - 8 months and probably you will be applying for your citizenship before it expires.

In addition, you need to apply for Zambrano at the same time though it may take up to 8 or 9months to get reply on this but may be less if you are very lucky.

I will recommend you get a lawyer to put in those two applications at the same time and as fast as possible. Dont forget you have up till 14days to forward your review form regarding the EU treaty right refusal, if you fold your arms and do nothing? you will be threatened with deportation letter.
Act fast!!!

I was in immigration office couple of days ago in order to change my eu treaty status by zambrano.
There is an information on INIS web site that I have to present my irish child with the following documents for change the status.
On the window the officer told me that they cannot do anything, I have to send an appeal letter form4 for EU treaty and for zambrano I have to send all relevant documents in writing as well.
I am just wondering what on earth there is such information on their site but they do not do so?
Anyway I have forwarded eu treaty appeal form4 to EU treaty section and zambrano documents to repatriation section.
Officer told me that after appeal they might extend my residence card and and if it would be extended i can do zambrano.Anyway, if something goes wrong , I will take the solicitor
I will see what happens.

Hi el shaddai.
I have sent review form4 to eu treaty section and at this same time I have sent relevant zambrano documents to repatriation section.
I was in immigration office but they didn't upgrade my status and advised to send documents and letter in writing.
I didn't take a solicitor for this moments but if something goes wrong i will definitely take him.
I have one question:
if my residency extended 6-8 more months, would I be able to apply and upgrade my status by zambrano in those 6-8 months?
