Applied for HSMP

I sent my HSMP application last week and it has been received by the Team as per the courier status
From here on, how do I track the status?How do I get my case reference number? Will they email it or should I call?Do they assign the reference as soon as they receive it or should I wait longer?Please advise

They assign a reference number. If you visit the official HSMP site, it is requested to restrict calls or emails at this point due to high numbers of applications. You can send an email asking your reference number but that doesn't help in the process of HSMP approval. Now it takes exactly 3 months +/- a week. Be patient if you have 65+ points and necessary documents have been submitted along with your app.
