Applied for Tier 1 (general) on 5th Dec - Query reg Earnings

Hi All,

I applied Tier 1 (General) on this 5th Dec. My total earnings for the claim period (01 Dev 2007 - 30 Nov 2008) was 471193.

Unfortunately for earnings calculation - I have used the conversion rate from oanda.com (INR to GBP) of the 5th Dec date that was 0.01367.

When I checked in this forum for earnings calculation they told to use the last day of the period of the earnings claimed that was 30 Nove 2008 which was 0.01311.

However, in the both the cases I calculated the earnings which was in between earnings band 32000 - 34999 for which I am getting 35 points.

Will that be alright ? Any issues in this context ? Pls share your experiences. Looking forward to your kind responses.

Dont worry. The case worker will in any case calculate the GBP equivalent of your earnings as per the guidlines. If even after using the lower (correct) multiplier you are within the band that you have claimed points for, things should be fine.
